The RayCom Cash Scholarship Initiative

One of our key community impact programs is the RayCom Cash Scholarship Initiative, an educational support program designed to recognize and empower outstanding students with great potential. Education remains one of the most powerful tools for transforming lives and strengthening communities.

However, many talented students often face financial barriers that limit their ability to pursue their academic goals. The RayCom Cash Scholarship Initiative was created to help bridge that gap. Through this initiative, RayCom Plaza provides financial scholarship support to deserving students, helping them continue their academic journey with greater confidence and opportunity.

Olorogun Raymond Anozie

Olorogun Raymond Anozie (JP) is a seasoned entrepreneur and technology-focused business leader who built the RAYCOM® brand — a recognized retailer of electronics, furniture, and home technology in Delta State, Nigeria. He was awarded the title of Justice of the Peace by the Government of Delta State and is currently a law student at Novena University.

A native of Umuahia North LGA in Abia State, he earned a Bachelor’s degree in Applied Statistics from Nnamdi Azikiwe University in 1999. Driven by a passion for technology, he founded RAYCOM® in 2004 to expand access to modern electronics and tech solutions across Delta State.

Over two decades, his leadership has grown RAYCOM® into a trusted brand with outlets in Ughelli, Abraka, and Ogwashi-Uku, supplying electronics, home appliances, smart devices, and tech services. A key milestone is opening of RayCom Plaza, a one-stop hub for electronics, furniture, interior décor, smartphones, and gadgets tailored to today’s connected lifestyle.

Beyond business, he is a Double Chief and respected community leader. He holds the Chieftancy title, Emezie Obodo 1 of Ofeme Autonomous Community in Abia State and also a Chief in Ughelli Kingdom in Ughelli North LGA as Uvo R’Ovie of Ughelli Kingdom. He currently serves as President General of Ohanaeze Ndi Igbo, Ughelli North LGA.

As an entrepreneur, husband, and community-minded leader, he remains committed to expanding RAYCOM® while contributing to the development of the communities he serves.
